Univox CTC-120 is one of a range of counter loop kits complete with loop amplifier, microphone and preformed loop. The systems are designed for use at reception desks, supermarket checkouts, ticket counters and similar one to one service desks. Installed correctly, they will provide high clarity intelligible audio communication between staff and hearing aid user, meeting the performance standard IEC60118-4 to comply with the law and above all provide a benefit to the hearing aid user, staff and other customers. At the heart of the Univox CTC-120 is the Univox CLS-1 loop amplifier with its proprietary Dual Action AGC, automatic gain control. Univox LS-2 outputs up to 30A rms. to compensate for the high signal losses associated with the construction metal of the vehicles it was designed to operate in such as trains, trams coaches and ships. It incorporates the Univox Dual stage AGC, ways OnTM technology and metal loss correction control so every word is reproduced with high clarity and intelligibility. Industry standard WAGO and XLR connectors are used for all wiring including the loop cable and to ease installation, they are located on a single face of the unit along with the LED indicators. The inputs, of which there are 2, are programmable with rugged DIL switches. They can also be monitored along with the output settings via a data link.
